I began with an all girl close harmony trio, The Laverne Sisters, performing in the style of The Andrews Sisters. We soon joined forces with The Swing Commanders - described as "like having Louis Jordan, the Andrews Sisters and Bob Wills together...." (Jim Gillan - Rock 'n' Reel).
